Slipknot Bassist (V-Man) rushed to Hospital in Hartford

We were in attendance last night, and this was a bit scary as it unfolded right before our eyes. After 6 songs, V-Man rushed off stage to get checked out by medics for an unknown medical emergency. We now hear "convulsions" as a likely cause, yet details are not readily available. Corey Taylor addressed the crowd, and the band continued to play without their bassist with a modified set list. Their scheduled 18 song set list with 4 encore tracks, was changed to 17 with only 2 as an encore. No worries on that note, however we wish the best for their bassist and a quick recovery.

The Dead Daisies on The Purple Tour

The Dead Daisies played College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Connecticut 7/28/15. This newly renovated venue has great sound, great acoustics, decor, and an excellent selection of drinks with their full bar services, even a taco cart in the venue! The Dead Daisies came to CT and gave a hell of a show! Vocalist John Corabi, best known for his work with Motley Crue and their self titled album in 1994, still has the lungs from 20+ years ago! Former Guns N' Roses keyboardist & guitar players, former Whitesnake/David Coverdale members also took the stage with powerful sounds with this newly formed group of Motley individuals. If you have a chance to see these guys on this tour, please do! You won't be disappointed.

Whitesnake rocks New Haven!

Eighties hair metal masters, Whitesnake, rolled back into Connecticut, once the best state in FM Radio for metal. The former home of metal, WCCC 106.9 (now iRockRadio.com) was on hand at the College Street Music Hall in New Haven, CT on July 28, 2015! David Coverdale and the gang of hair bandits played a powerful 90 minute set, with flaming guitar solos and medleys. If you've been a fan of Whitesnake, or have never even heard of them, be sure to catch them on their current "Purple Tour" with "The Dead Daisies".
